Our Perfect Little Wedding

This was the perfect intimate venue for our wedding ceremony. The ceremony itself was spiritual and beautifully composed. Chaplain Pat ensured we felt comfortable and confident as the ceremony unfolded. We will cherish the memories we created with our loved ones for the years to come.

Great intimate venue during these COVID times

I stumbled upon the Courthouse Wedding Chapel when I was looking for venue alternatives to the historic downtown Houston courthouse, which, because of COVID, was not hosting wedding ceremonies.

After seeing the video tour of their space on Youtube, I fell in love with this chapel immediately and booked the place with my fiance (now husband, yay!) as soon as we decided on a wedding date.

We got engaged in August 2020 and got married here on October 10, 2020, so it was not a long engagement, and being the planner that I am, even though this was a simple ceremony, I still wanted to make sure that I understood every detail and knew what to expect on the day of the wedding. For the two months leading up to our wedding, I sent Chaplain Pat several emails with questions and she always responded promptly and courteously. Thank you so much Chaplain Pat for bearing with me!

Additionally, my father is disabled but still really wanted to walk me down the aisle, and Chaplain Pat was beyond accommodating to my request and it really made our day. My in-laws also said afterwards that the ceremony service was really nice and they enjoyed it a lot.

We added the livestream service to our wedding package so that all of our friends and family in California, Florida, and even my brother and sister-in-law in China could tune in. I just wish we could've gotten a recording of the livestream. Maybe another add-on the Chapel could include to their wedding packages? I would've gladly paid an extra fee for it!

It's only been 6 days since our wedding so we are still waiting on our professional photos, but Chaplain Pat and Billy (the photographer) were great in directly my husband and I where to stand and where to look during the photo session so that we were as efficient with our time as possible.

All in all, it was a great experience and I couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding! I'm 100% sure we would've still chosen this Chapel to get married even if it wasn't COVID times because my husband and I didn't want to have a long engagement and anywhere else would've required way more planning than either of wanted to do.

We had to change our plans and wedding date due to COVID, so I had to find another venue. The Courthouse Wedding Chapel was perfect for my husband and I. It was beautiful and intimate. It was just what I wanted instead of a big wedding, it was the perfect setting and Chaplain Pat, was very patient with me as I was a nervous bride. I recommend the Courthouse Wedding Chapel to anyone who would like a small wedding with the perfect atmosphere and no fuss!!!
